As a hairdresser I am always trying to do better in what I am doing, to make it more interesting and unique. In so doing I am constantly refreshed and energized. It never gets boring or repetitive. Other than the various aspects of hairdressing, there is always different ways to do the same things.

In this hobby of birdkeeping, there are also so many aspects of it that one could pursue. I love color and variety. It is not only the color that I am interested in but also the breeding of these lovebirds. I am always curious and in anticipation of what will come from the various pairings. Most times I am pleasantly surprised.

Lovebirds, especially Peachfaced lovebirds are very varied in their colors and piedness as to the amount of pied and the color combinations. They can also be cross-bred or hybridized. In this gallery are pictures of some of the various colors, cinnamon, red/lutino pied, red/green pied, hybrids or crossed Peachfaced/Black-masked, Fischers/Peachfaced, grey, slate, and creamino.

The pictures shown on this page are just a few of the out-of-the-ordinary colors that I have bred. I have bred solid reds and red polka-dots on green, green pieds, lutinos, creamino, olives, and most of the green series. Also light green polka-dots on olives and darker green birds, white polka-dots on the blue series.
